Hazardous goods are solids, liquids, or gases that can harm people, other living organisms, property, or the environment.

For the correct interpretation when dealing with the transport of hazardous goods please see the brief glossary below with the definition of “Dangerous Goods”. CLASSIFICATION OF DANGEROUS GOODS

Classes and hazardous materials labels Hazardous goods are divided into nine classes according to GOST 19433-88 "DANGEROUS Goods. Classification and Marking":

Class 1: Explosive substances and materials

Class 2: Gases

Class 3: Flammable Liquids

Class 4: Flammable Solids (4.1) / spontaneously combustible solids (4.2) / Substances that emit a dangerous gas or react violently with water (4.3)

Class 5: Inflammable, oxidizing agents (5.1) / organic peroxides (5.2)

Class 6: toxic substances (6.1) / infectious substances (6.2)

Class 7: radioactive substances

Class 8: corrosive substances

Class 9: Dangerous substances and materials

The hazardous goods of each class are divided into several subcategories, categories and groups on the basis of the specific chemical characteristics producing the risk.

TARE AND PACKAGING.

The consignor has to provide hazardous goods in the tare and packaging as stipulated by the standards or the technical conditions for each product as well as by GOST 26319-84 "Dangerous cargo. Packaging".
